The Freedom Tour - New Professional Golf Tour for the New York Metro Area
The Freedom Tour kicks off its inaugural season on April 3rd, 2006 at Long Island National Golf Club in Riverhead, New York. It is the only professional golf tour in the New York Metro area and is open to male and female professionals as well as amateur golfers with a 6.0 handicap or better. The Long Island National event is the first in a series of 28 weekly events that will take place at some of the best courses in Westchester, Long Island, New Jersey and Dutchess County through to the Tour Championship in October.
