THE LINKS AT UNIONVALE
The Links at Union Vale lies less than one hour north of New York City, in southern Dutchess County. This remarkable links style course is reminiscent of the famous links courses of Ireland and Scotland. Opened in 2000, it was rated the Best New Public Course of the Year by Suburban Golf Magazine. The USGA considers Union Vale strong enough to be selected twice to hold US amateur sectional qualifiers.
Designed by famed architect Stephen Kay, this par 72, 7000 yard championship course features high grass, natural brush and gorse, wind and wide sweeping fairways which all contribute to the real links look and feel. You will have a hard time finding better greens anywhere in the Met section.
