THE FREEDOM TO COMPETE
The Freedom Tour offers professional and top amateur golfers in the New York Metropolitan area the opportunity to compete in weekly tournaments in a professional tour atmosphere. The tour complements the schedule of teaching golf professionals with one-day events held each Monday at some of the best courses in the area. Professionals and amateurs from outside the NY Metro area are also welcome to join the tour.
The Tour guarantees a minimum first place payout of $5000 (based on a minimum of 100 players) with deep payouts to the rest of the field. Players have the 'Freedom to Compete' when they want on a pay as you play basis.
The first event of the season took place Monday April 3rd at Long Island National, with the tour offering a full schedule of events. The Tour Championship in October is sure to be an exciting event as players compete for the Player of the Year bonus. The competition is already heating up!
